Security Shifts Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, how we use it, and your choices when you use our mobile app.
When you sign in with Email/Password or Google Sign-In, authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication and Google services.
This may include:
1) Email address
2) Account identifier (UID)
3) Display name (if provided)
The app lets you create and manage work-related records such as:
1) Company details
2) Shift details
3) Optional Mannual bank details entered in Settings
Based on the current app implementation, this data is stored locally on your device (SQLite and SharedPreferences), associated with your user UID on that device.
If you use backup/export features, the app can generate JSON backup files in your app documents directory and share them using your device share sheet when you choose to do so.
The app uses Google AdMob for ads and Google Play Billing / App Store billing for in-app purchases (e.g., Remove Ads).
Ad providers and billing providers may process device/app identifiers and transaction data according to their own privacy policies.
Crash, diagnostics, and technical data may be processed by platform providers (Android/iOS, Google/Firebase) as part of normal app operation.
We use data to:
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure
- Provide core app functionality (tracking companies/shifts)
- Save your preferences and app settings
- Enable backup/import/export actions requested by you
- Show ads (unless Remove Ads is active)
- Process and restore in-app purchases
- Maintain app reliability and performance
- Local app data is stored on your device.
- Authentication data is managed by Firebase Authentication.
- We keep data as needed to provide app functionality, until you delete it, uninstall the app, or delete your account (where applicable).
- Backups you export are controlled by you and retained where you save/share them.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share/process data with service providers required for app functionality:
- Google Firebase Authentication (sign-in/auth)
- Google Sign-In
- Google AdMob (ads)
- Google Play Billing / Apple billing services (in-app purchases)
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data.
In-app controls include:
- Updating your display name
- Exporting/importing your local backup
- Restoring purchases
- Signing out
You can also uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device (except data you exported/shared elsewhere).

2) We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party providers (e.g., Google/Firebase/AdMob) may process data on servers in multiple countries.
